Escrybe delivery channels

Escrybe offers physical and digital delivery channels for legally valid extrajudicial notifications. Each one fits a different scenario of time, cost, and proof. Below is a detailed description of each channel.

Physical deliveries (via Correios)

All physical channels follow the same operational flow: the order is placed through the platform (or via API), and Escrybe handles printing, enveloping, and posting with Correios. The sender tracks the status of each dispatch directly from the dashboard.

Standard Mail

Standard postal delivery with no individual tracking from Correios. The letter is printed, enveloped, and posted by Escrybe. It is the lowest-cost physical channel, intended for communications that do not require formal proof of delivery to the recipient — such as informational notices, internal announcements, or routine correspondence.

Estimated delivery time: 5 to 10 business days, varies by region

Registered Mail

Postal delivery with Correios registration and tracking code. Unlike Standard Mail, Registered Mail generates an object number that allows tracking the correspondence up to the destination unit. Delivery is made to the recipient's address, but without signature collection.

It is suitable for notifications that require traceability, but where personal proof of receipt (signature) is not mandatory.

Estimated delivery time: 5 to 10 business days, varies by region

Registered Mail + AR (Return Receipt)

Has all the characteristics of Registered Mail, plus the AR — a physical form returned signed by the recipient (or whoever received on their behalf), proving the date and identity of the receiver.

It is the physical channel with the highest level of delivery proof. Widely used in extrajudicial notifications, debt collections, and summons where proof of receipt is essential for legal validity.

Clients using Escrybe's Virtual Box service receive the physical ARs digitized directly in the platform, without needing to manage paper.

Estimated delivery time: 5 to 10 business days for delivery + 5 to 15 business days for AR return

Sedex

Express delivery by Correios, with a shorter delivery time than conventional letters. Also available in the Sedex + AR version, with Return Receipt. The price varies according to the destination ZIP code.

Requires contracting Escrybe's Virtual Box service for managing returns and ARs.

Indicated for physical notifications with time pressure, where delivery speed is a determining factor.

Estimated delivery time: 1 to 3 business days, varies by region

Telegram

A message transmitted electronically to Correios by Escrybe and delivered in printed form at the recipient's address. The telegram is a Correios service with a legal presumption of delivery, which grants it wide acceptance in legal contexts.

It is especially used for default notices, contract termination notifications, and communications that require both formality and speed. Delivery is usually faster than conventional letters.

Clients on Premium and Custom plans can use their own Correios contract for this service.

Estimated delivery time: 4 to 24 business hours — usually delivered the same day, depending on the dispatch time

Digital deliveries

Registered Email

Digital alternative to postal delivery, with equivalent legal validity. Registered Email is sent to the recipient's email address and generates a technical report (evidentiary report) with a complete record of sending, delivery to the inbox, and opening of the message — including date, time, and IP address.

Delivery occurs seconds after dispatch, at a cost significantly lower than any physical channel. It is suitable for extrajudicial notifications, debt collections, payment reminders, and any communication where the recipient's email is known and delivery speed is a priority.

Estimated delivery time: Seconds (immediate digital delivery after processing)

Registered WhatsApp

Sending extrajudicial notifications via WhatsApp, using Meta's official WhatsApp Business API. Messages follow templates pre-approved by Meta and must include the sender's and recipient's identification data (name and ID) to ensure legal validity.

Each dispatch generates an evidentiary report with evidence of sending, delivery, and reading of the message. The service is exclusive to extrajudicial notifications, debt collections, and summons — it is not permitted for advertising or marketing.

On the API and Premium plans, sending can be done from the client's own private WhatsApp number.

You can use one of the message templates already pre-approved by Escrybe or create your own — custom templates depend on Meta's approval and may take up to 24 hours to be released.

Estimated delivery time: Seconds (immediate digital delivery, subject to the recipient having WhatsApp active)
